are you able to come to my house?

my makeup service is completely mobile, i will come to whatever location is convenient for you on the day. if you live outside of the canberra region, a travel surcharge may apply.

do i need to do anything before my consultation?

i ask that you come with a clean face; please gently exfoliate and moisturise. any waxing should be done 2-3 days prior to both the trial and your special occasion.

is there anything i need to bring for my makeup trial?

yes, it’s recommended that you bring along pictures (magazines etc) of makeup looks you like, along with photos or colour samples of your outfit (formal / wedding / bridesmaid dresses etc). this will help me to create a look that will fit in perfectly with your special day. if you have a favourite lipstick that you may like to use, please bring that along too!

how long does makeup application usually take?

i ask you to allow 40 minutes per person. brides will need 45 minutes to an hour.

i rarely wear makeup, and when i do it’s not much– are you able to use minimal makeup?

every look i create is personalised; so if you are after a natural look i will achieve that for you.

what makeup products do you use?

i use only the highest quality, professional products; brands that i also use myself - mac, kryolan, inglot, gorgeous and napoleon just to name a few!

will my makeup stay on all day / night?

the products i use are designed to hold your makeup for as long as possible; however makeup will still shift as eating, drinking and sweating occur. touchups may be required (this is a good job for the bridesmaids!).

once my makeup is done, how will i touch up later?

generally you will only need to touch up your lips, and apply some powder for shine. when you are happy with the look we have created, i will write down a list of products that may be useful to you on the day, which you can purchase at your own expense or i am able to do this for you by request.

what should i have done first... my makeup or my hair?

i personally find it best to have your hair styled first. this way your makeup will not only compliment your hair style, but be fresh.

do you offer hairstyling?

i am trained in basic hairstyling; however my focus is on your makeup! in my experience, booking a separate hairdresser and makeup artist works best for all involved.
