you know that feeling, when something just fits? that’s how i feel in my career as a makeup artist.

i have always enjoyed the creative arts; with a background in dance, drama and photography. the world of beauty and glamour is where i feel at home.

i previously studied at the canberra institute of technology (c.i.t.) achieving a bachelor of design, majoring in photography – which definitely helps with creating that ‘picture perfect’ look!

whilst completing this three year course my focus was based around fashion, modelling and makeup. i love photography and still pick up the camera from time to time, but my secret passion was makeup artistry. a fellow student at c.i.t. during my time there was a makeup artist, and it motivated me to work towards the career that i’d always wanted to pursue.

whilst studying at canberra makeup academy i was known as ‘the perfectionist’ of the group. i take that as a compliment; it’s what i strive for – perfection, every time i pick up my brush.

now i am following my dream career; in which i am qualified, skilled, and most importantly - passionate about. nothing is more rewarding than helping someone feel beautiful and seeing their confidence really shine through.
